Set at the top of Geufron Farm, The Old Farmhouse, or Yr Hen Dy Fferm in Welsh, is the largest property on site and a welcoming place to gather with family or friends. With space for eight guests, the farmhouse feels sociable and relaxed, designed for shared meals, long conversations and slow evenings by the fire. The generous kitchen diner forms the heart of the house, while a separate dining room and a spacious living room with a log burner offer plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Bedrooms are arranged across the upper floor, creating a calm, comfortable retreat after busy days outdoors, and the enclosed garden to the front of the house provides a safe space to relax, particularly for those travelling with dogs.

Surrounded by 20 acres of private land, The Old Farmhouse is ideally placed for exploring both countryside and coast. Walks begin directly from the doorstep, with tracks and footpaths winding through open fields and hillsides, perfect for morning strolls or longer rambles without needing to drive. Despite the rural setting, sandy beaches are only a short journey away, many of them dog friendly and ideal for paddling, picnics or simply watching the waves roll in. Cardigan Bay is well known for its wide skies, changing light and abundant wildlife, with dolphins often spotted offshore on calm days.

The area offers something for every pace of holiday. Active days can be spent hiking, cycling quiet country lanes, horse riding, paddleboarding or sailing, while slower afternoons lend themselves to beach walks, exploring nearby villages or settling into a local pub just a short walk from the farm. Evenings often end back at the farmhouse, gathered around the outdoor fire pit, toasting marshmallows and watching the stars appear. Whether booked on its own or alongside The Little Cottage next door, The Old Farmhouse offers a relaxed base for shared moments in a beautifully unspoilt corner of West Wales.

In the summer months & school holidays only, The Old Farmhouse can be booked together with The Little Cottage next door to accommodate up to 10 guests. This is an ideal retreat for large families or groups.
