About Apple Tree Lodge At Talgarth
This property is one of two lodges set in a delightful orchard in the village of Talgarth in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The property has splendid views and is an easy walk to the village pubs and shops and a restored watermill. Only a short drive away is the ever-popular town of books Hay-on-Wye. The property is a short drive to some local beauty spots such as Llangorse Lake and Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve offering super walks along with Mid-Wales highest mountain Pen-Y-Fan just a short drive away.
For the more easy-going guests there are some lovely market towns such as Crickhowell and Brecon both within easy reach. There is plenty to see and do during the day such as walking mountain biking climbing kayaking fishing and horse riding before a bit of stargazing in the evening. Follow the stepped pathway through the orchard down to the lodge where you will find the entrance hall and a handy utility area with washing machine tumble dryer and freezer. From here you can access a light and airy super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request) with lovely views.
Venture down a couple of steps and discover the warm and cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The contemporary kitchen has an electric oven and an induction hob fridge microwave and dishwasher. A dining table sits between the lounge and kitchen areas. The lounge area has a stylish sofa and chairs Smart TV and floor to ceiling windows to take in the fabulous surroundings.
From the kitchen area through an internal hallway you will find the shower room with large waterfall shower and WC. And completing the accommodation is a pretty king-size bedroom. This is a fantastic residence with cosy underfloor heating throughout making this an ideal retreat perfect for couples and families all year round. Outside there is a private decked area overlooking the orchard stream and woodland beyond with furniture and BBQ for some al fresco dining during the spring and summer months along with your own wood-fired hot tub.

Utility room with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Private wood fired hot tub (all logs are provided for the full stay). Electric and underfloor heating included. Infants can only be accommodated in parents bed as no floor space available for a travel cot.
External and internal steps feature to access this property not suitable for those with limited mobility. Gardens are shared with Pear Tree Lodge and are not enclosed . Private parking for 2 cars approximately 15 metres from the lodge access to lodge is along a stepped pathway. Wi Fi included.
